| BFA Board Elects New Officers, Continues Convention Planning |

Meeting in Albuquerque, NM the BFA Board of Directors welcomed three new members and elected officers for the 2010 year. Taking their new seats on the board were Kevin Knapp (At-Large), Matt Fenster (North Central), and re-elected Southeast Region Director Don Edwards. The Board also thanked outgoing members Nancy Griffin - (who has served a total of 9 years in three terms on the board) and Gary Ruble for their service. Board members elected a new set of officers to lead the BFA in 2010, and they are:Don Edwards, President Troy Bradley, Vice President Jim Thompson, Treasurer Ken Walter, Secretary
The Board also continues to plan the BFA National Convention for Spring of 2011. Four groups made presentations to the board trying to win approval as host city for the convention. Denver, Colorado; Des Moines, Iowa; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Phoenix, Arizona all hope to be selected. The presentations were so well done the board felt it could not narrow the field and so has asked each to come back with greater detail in about a month.
