Vote Everyday in June!

The National Balloon Museum has been accepted in Pepsi’s grant program to help replace damaged windows!! Which is wonderful when you considered how many apply each month. We need to be in the top 10 by June 30th to get the money. Please spread the word to your friends. To vote go to our Museum website.....

Click on the “Vote for this idea” button on the home page. Then go to the art and cultural section (blue) and $25,000 tab. To vote you need to sign in using your e-mail address. Each time you sign in you get 10 votes. Use your first to vote for the Museum’s Stained Glass Window project ($25,000) and the other 9 for other categories. You want to vote only once in the $25,000 Category of Art and Cultural.

The Pepsi Grant would be a huge help to get this very necessary project completed.

We need to replace 7 large windows in the main viewing area. They are cracked and leaking. The current windows are not energy efficient. We have challenged each of the BFA 6 regions to come up with a stain glass design representing their region. The 7th window will represent Iowa.

We are 15 miles from Des Moines and we will be one of the tours offered at the BFA  National Convention. We want the windows in place by March of 2011 so that the BFA Members from across the world can come and see "their" window.
