The 55th Gordon Bennett Race has ended.   (Final results pending!)

French pilots Sebastien Rolland and Vincent Leys flew a second night with weather chasing them and have passed all participating pilots to take the lead in the race.   German team 2:  Matthias Zenge & Frank  Wilbert came in second.  German team 1: Wilhelm  Eimers & Ullrich Seel came in third.  United Kingdom team 1:David Hempleman-Adams & Simon Carey were fourth.  Barbara  Fricke and Peter Cuneo of the USA were fifth  Below is a picture of USA team 1 landing site:
