Two time U.S. National Champion Nick Donner has added another title to his resumé - he is the 2008 BFA National Points Champion.
Donner flew a total of 29 tasks in 2008 achieving an averaged score of 949.0 points. He narrowly edged out former World Champion John Petrehn who flew 25 tasks and ended the year with a score of 944.2 points. Joe Zvada was third with a total of 36 tasks and an averaged score of 939.6 points.
As the 2008 Champion Donner receives a $500 prize.

Other year end prize winners are:
•Senior Pilot - Owen Keown
•Most Improved - Travis Vencel
•Top Rookie - Kirk Bloom
•Top Female - Sandra Barlett

Each of these pilots will receive a $300 prize from the HACD. Additionally $175 will be paid to the remaining Top 21 pilots on the ranking list (excluding Donner & Keown). This year-end prize money dispursal is courtesy of a $5,000 grant from Curves International!
