The September/October 2010 issue of BALLOONING is mailing today but you may be confused when it arrives in your mailbox. The Journal's cover is misdated - it reads July/August - but it is indeed the Sept/Oct issue and features the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives balloon on the cover. Watch for it in your mailbox soon. We apologize for the error. (Glen Moyer - Editor)
Throughout time, dating to as early as the Roman Empire, commemorative coins have been used to celebrate landmark achievements and events. For the first time, the Balloon Federation of America has authorized the minting of its own commemorative coin to mark the modern era of ballooning and the BFA's upcoming 50th birthday in 2011.
