2011 BFA CONVENTION PROGRAM
The 2011 Balloon Federation of America Convention program is almost finalized. It has a number of opportunities to hear some of the best speakers in the country on many topics related to ballooning history, safety and education.

The BFA board of directors recently met in Albuquerque New Mexico for a face to face meeting Sept 30-Oct 1 2010. There were many items on the agenda, but the items that seemed to take up a lot of discussion time were both membership and the website.

The BFA board of directors will be meeting at the Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum September 30-Oct . Below is the agenda and times that the board will be discussing the items. Recently a BFA member informed the Board that the Missouri Propane Commission was removing a critical exemption for hot air balloon refueling operations in an upcoming rules change.

BFA Vice-President Bill Hughes will be a guest on the program on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. The show is hosted by Roy Beisswenger and can be heard from 12-noon to 2 p.m. Eastern time at www.psfradio.com. Hughes' interview segment is expected to air just after 1:15 p.m. Eastern time but log on early so you don't miss it! |
