Ottumwa Pro Balloon Race

I am pleased to announce that the Ottumwa Pro Balloon Races has taken on a brand new vision and board of directors!  We are revamping the event and making changes.  We need your participation more than ever!  Please consider joining us this year!!!
We are excited to host the 2018 event on July 13,14,15.  We are looking for 30 balloons to compete in this year’s event.  We have a fun flight scheduled for Friday evening with a cash prize awarded to first place.  We also have competition flights scheduled for Saturday morning and evening and Sunday morning.  We will be paying down 10 places. (Prize money comes directly from the pilot entry fees.  The more pilots we have the more money we can pay.  If the number of pilots decrease, some adjustments will be made to the 5th thru 10th places.)
1st place $1,000, 2nd place $500, 3rd place $250, 4th place $125, 5th place $75, 6th thru 10th place $60 each
We will also be hosting a night glow on Friday and Saturday night and Gift Cards to local restaurants will be handed out to those participating pilots.
You will be given a hotel room for two nights and your propane for the weekend.  Come full and leave full.  Extra rooms will be available at your expense.
