30 years of high flying fun! BalloonFest promises to be an outing with the entire family in mind. Everyone will enjoy the colorful Ashland skies as the hot air balloons fill the air for this memorable weekend. Delight yourself in the festivities! Each year you attend you will have a new experience to treasure for years to come. Entertainment, music, shows, and an assortment of food vending is all part of the nonstop activities.
Competition flights in the mornings, mass ascension in the evenings and balloon glows at night! Lots of fun for the whole family!

Description
Freer Field is a 78-acre park near the heart of the city of Ashland. Freer Field has two miles of hiking trails, including a one-mile paved loop for use by hikers, runners, bikers, strollers, and more. These trails travel through several habitats, including 30 acres of woodland and a grassy meadow. The trail circles a large grassy are that offers opportunities for kite flying, Frisbee throwing, and other family fun. There is a historic barn at Freer Field and a unique playground that was designed to be used by children of all abilities.
