19th Annual Lexington Sunrise Rotary Balloon Rally

With two major colleges and an internationally known horse center, this event draws several thousand people throughout the weekend. This is a family event which attracts an audience of all ages.

The pilots we are seeking should have their Commercial rating and be prepared to carry ride passengers during the weekend.  Propane and hotel rooms are provided for the pilots throughout the event. Lexington is a small southern town surrounded by farmland. Flying is fairly easy requiring only a moderate skill level in town and beginning skill levels once you have reached the surrounding countryside.  We hope to have a total of 12 balloons from all over the east coast offering rides and tethers.  Fireworks on the 4th of July sponsored by the city of Lexington along with entertainment and vendors.
