Festival Internacional de Globo

This event is now in its 15th year, accepting 150 balloons from the US.  It is an international event hosting pilots from Latin America and Europe.  The field elevation is 6000' MSL, you are required to provide passenger rides for two passengers on each flight and carry a banner.  No competition, all fun flying.  Launch site at the Parque Metropolitano, where a box wind sets up early for about two hours. The landing sites are filled with children. The citizens are very excited about balloons.  Pilots will arrive in Leon on Nov 16.
