Flag City BalloonFest

On behalf of the Findlay, Ohio Community, you and your balloon team are cordially invited to participate in the 18^th annual Flag City BalloonFest. 

Our 2017 Event staff are as follows:

The competition has been sanctioned by the BFA as the Great Lakes Regional Championship.  Over $10,000 in cash and prizes will be available for the competition this year.  Competition scores from the event will be provided to the BFA for inclusion in the National Eligibility List.  In addition, all non-commercial entries that participate in the balloon glow will receive a $100.00 gift.  Meals will be provided starting Friday evening for your pilot and crew, up to 6 as part of your registration. 

You will be notified of acceptance and hotel assignments by May 15, 2017.

The Flag City BalloonFest is by invitation only and this year we will accommodate 40 competitors.  Pilots must meet the minimum 75 Hours PIC.  Pilots wishing to participate must complete the on- line registration prior to April 15, 2017.  Priority will be given to any current HACD pilots that physically reside in the Great Lakes region during the current year’s competition season.  After April 15, 2017, any remaining openings may be filled with remaining registered pilots.  Registration is complete when payment is received.
