Description
We are inviting 20 – 30 Hot Air Balloons and Pilots to join us in Hot Springs, in the Black Hills of South Dakota, for the weekend of August 23rd - 26th , 2019.
Registered pilots launch from the Hot Springs Airport just after sunrise on Saturday, August 24th and Sunday, August 25th, as well as participate in a Night Glow on Saturday night, August 24th, 2019 (all events are weather permitting).
NEW this year is the Hare & Hound Race on Saturday August 24th! 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners receive a cash prize, an award and bragging rights!
The festival also features hot air balloon rides, glider rides, static displays, a walk-in balloon, a volksmarch, free Kid Zone, the downtown Art Walk & Chalk, live music and vendors!
