2014 HACD Competition Rules & Regulations
We have included below links for 2014 Competition Rules, Regulations, Policies and Procedures.
These have been approved for use during the 2014 competitive ballooning season. We ask that any event hosting competitive tasks whose competitors’ scores will be submitted to the National Ranking System (NRS) utilize these rules exactly as presented.
We have provided links to both a pdf and Word version for your convenience. If you run an event and wish to tailor the rules of Section I and II to the particulars of your event, use the Word format to make the necessary edits. In addition, if you don’t want all the extra appendices you may omit those from your event rules.
Sections I, II and III comprise the critical portions of the competition rules. Section III may not be changed in any way without the express advance permission of the HACD Board. Section III contains Chapters 1 to 15 and strict adherence to these rules provides for a fair and consistent application of rules for all US events submitting scores to the NRS.
The HACD Board asks that you please use these rules in their entirety and without changes if it is your intention to submit scores from your competitive participants into the NRS.
