Description
Please join Balloons Over Iowa in the celebration of Ode to Spring. This Celebration has traditionally signified the arrival of spring and the start of the flying season.
Schedule:
5:45 a.m. Registration at the Balloon Field, Indianola, IA
6:00 a.m. Pilot briefing at the Sponsor Building
If no a.m. flight:
5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Registration at the Balloon Field, Indianola, IA.
6:00 p.m. Pilot briefing at the Sponsor Building
6:15 p.m. Flight (weather permitting). Festivities moved to the Balloonport if flight is cancelled
Cost - $25 club dues.

Description
From Carlisle Iowa, go southeast 2 miles on Hwy 5, turn north on 190th Ave (2nd left after Carlisle). Go north about 1 mile. The Balloonport is on the east side of the road (if the road curves west, you’ve gone too far).
Be cautious of the railroad crossing as you turn north on 190th Ave.
