Gates Open & Close: Friday & Saturday 6:00AM – 9PM; Sunday 6:00AM – 12PM (subject to change)

Balloon Event Times: Morning “Hare & Hound” competition (Friday - Sunday): 6:35AM – 7:35AM; Evening Glows (Friday & Saturday): 7:00PM – 8:30PM (times subject to change)

*PLEASE NOTE: Balloon Liftoffs & Glows times are always dependent upon weather conditions.

Beneficiary: Valley of the Sun United Way - Valley of the Sun United Way’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty for Valley families. “We fight to end hunger in the classroom, to end homelessness, and to put a stop to financial instability.” A portion of ticket sales will go directly back to Valley of the Sun United Way programs. Attendance: Up to 20,000 spectators are expected to enjoy this community event.

Balloons: Up to 15 hot-air balloons, including special shapes, will participate

Events: The Arizona Balloon Classic” – From Friday to Sunday mornings, April 30th, May 1st & 2nd the sky will be filled with colorful hot-air balloons participate in thrilling “Hare & Hound” races from the grassy fields of the Goodyear Ballpark for a spectacular sight of mass and color. Spectators can walk on the field and experience the balloons inflation and lift off. Photo taking is invited.

DESERT GLOWS on Friday and Saturday evenings, May 1st & 2nd are our most popular attended events. A field full of illuminated, tethered, hot air balloons will glow in time to music.

Other Events: Hot Air Balloon rides, the Family Fun Zone (Water Slides & Inflatables), Hot Air Balloon Tether rides, Stunt Bike Shows, Fireworks (Saturday ONLY),” Live Entertainment, introducing the inaugural “Desert Winds Kite Festival” and many other exciting events. Retail shopping and commercial exhibits for purchases or browsing.

Street Foodfest: Our 4th Annual Street Foodfest is TRULY a culinary experience including; the “Beer Gardens”, Festival food favorites, Live music stage and more. Come hungry and stay for a while…

Admission: For any one day on Friday or Saturday - $25 at the gate. Sunday is FREE. DISCOUNT ticket Christmas promotion starts Friday, December 11th until Friday, December 25th, 2020 and then again Friday, March 5th until Friday, April 30th, 2021. Active Military and Children 12 & under are always FREE. Group ticket packages available. General parking $5. PLEASE NOTE, NO PETS ALLOWED. ALL BALLOONING EVENTS ARE DEPENDENT UPON WEATHER CONDITIONS. NO REFUNDS. RAIN CHECKS OFFERED TO OTHER BALLOON EVENTS DUE TO CANCELLATION.
