Description
The National Balloon Classic is an annual hot air balloon festival held at the Memorial Balloon Field in Indianola, Iowa. The classic is a nine-day event with nearly 100 hot air balloons.
100+ hot air balloons suspended over the horizon, skilled pilots from around the world, roaring burners creating a whoosh that is both heard and felt. All of this and so much more!

Description
The National Balloon Classic is held at the National Balloon Classic Memorial Balloon Field, which is located east of Indianola on Hwy 92. From the intersection of Hwy 69 and Hwy 92, go east two miles and follow balloon traffic signs. The best way to avoid heavy traffic is to take a route that includes arriving on Hwy 92 from the East.
