47th Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic

The Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic is one of the oldest continual balloon events in the United States.
60 or so hot air balloons compete in light-hearted races, with fun flights, tethered rides, and glows early morning and late afternoon.

Pilots from across the country and all ranges of experience are welcome to apply.

Saturday's events include an antique and classic automobile show, a tractor show, an arts and crafts fair, children's activities, and the "midway" of food and merchandise vendors. The midway continues Sunday, with the arts and crafts fair, children's activities, and a karaoke competition. Both evenings feature live musical performances. The event ends with fireworks!
