Bluff International Balloon Festival
From Friday, January 12, 2024
To Sunday, January 14, 2024

Bluff provides some of the most beautiful, unencumbered red rock flying in the Southwest. The big, colorful balloons are flown by a big, colorful cast of characters with hearts as large as their flying orbs. Fun lovers of all ages will enjoy this very friendly event in our beautiful river valley.

Bluff Balloon Festival Arts Fair, Southwest Cuisine Cookoff, Carute Roma, a gypsy fusion band performs, plus competition prizes awarded.

Located along U.S. Highway 191, Bluff is bordered on the south by the San Juan River and the Navajo Nation, verdant farmland to the east and vast panoramic landscapes to the west. To the north, 300-foot sandstone bluffs, which were the inspiration for the town's name, are a dominant visual element serving as a dramatic backdrop for the community.
