The Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place every August. This year we have between 30 and 35 balloons. Balloons launch from the Hot Springs Municipal Airport, 5 miles south of Hot Springs. There is a Hare and Hound Race for some friendly competition and balloon rides are available. Aside from the launches, all other activities take place in Hot Springs. Activities include, Fun Run, Walk-in Balloon, Vendors, Live Music, Food, Art, Sidewalk Sales, Giant inflatables, Peddle carts, Hydrant Party, Fun and Games and Night Glow Around Town! (All balloon events are weather permitting) 9th year.
