The Event originated to help the morale of the people of High River after the flood of June 20, 2013. The Event features the Canadian National Championship for all Canadian pilots.
The competition will start with registration, master briefing and a media/sponsor flight Wednesday September 21 followed by morning and evening flights Thursday, Friday and Saturday with a final flight Sunday morning. In addition to the flights there will be a Balloon Glow Friday night. In the event that the Glow is cancelled due to weather the Glow will be Saturday night. All flights are subject to weather.
