The Erie Balloon Festival is celebrating its 28th year in Erie, Colorado. The event hosts 25-30 hot air balloons each year. Balloons fly over serene countryside and farmland, framed by the majestic Rocky Mountains. Whether for the morning balloon launches or the balloon glow on Saturday night, the sky comes alive with the mystical and colorful balloons. The event also includes music, food trucks, a balloon glow and other child friendly balloon activities. The Erie Balloon Festival is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Erie Chamber of Commerce.
