Foundation Park is a beautiful 300 acre nature preserve located on the eastern side of Centralia. Centralia Balloon Fest is an annual hot air balloon event that takes place on the 3rd full weekend of August in Centralia, Illinois. The event includes hot air balloon flights and glows, a craft fair, live music, kids entertainment, car show and many food vendors. 

Foundation Park - (North Gate) Enter off Gragg St. via Rt. 51 or from Hwy. 161 East turn North on Country Club Road to Gragg Street.

Take Centralia Exit 109, travel west 8 miles; From the north: Entering Centralia city limits, turn left at Hwy. 161 intersection; From the south

Entering Centralia city limits turn right at Hwy. 161 intersection
