The bfa.net website has been a major asset to our members for the past 10 years. Centralizing management of subscriptions and automating formerly manual tasks has saved countless hours and significantly reduced office expenses.
Starting next week, the BFA begins a major upgrade to the bfa.net website, including content arrangement and functionality, with the goal of keeping content fresh, relevant and valuable to you, our members. The first step is largely technical, to upgrade the hosting platform and technical framework. On Thursday, February 22, the website will be offline starting at 08:00 CT, and remain offline during most of the day. The technical team will be performing upgrades and tests during this time.
We will send another notice that morning, repeating the above details, and again when the work is finished and the website is back online.
In a similar vein, Denise Day, our office manager, has a new email address – bfaoffice@office.bfa.net – note the new subdomain ‘office.bfa.net’.
All email sent to the old address will be automatically forwarded to Denise, and will remain so until everyone has the received the word and changes over.
